The Illinois Rehabilitation Association is a voluntary division of the National Rehabilitation Association. Professionals in the rehabilitation field, as well as other fields, people with disabilities, students and other interested citizens make up IRA's membership.
IRA is dedicated to promoting programs that help people with disabilities, while educating the public on the importance of such programs. IRA also provides professional development and support for individuals with disabilities.

The Illinois Job Placement is pleased to announce a training
opportunity for anyone interested in the job placement of individuals
with disabilities. This one day conference will be held on July 17,
2009, 10am-3:30 pm at the James R. Thompson Center, 9th floor room 031,
in Chicago. Cost is $50.00 Featured speakers include Dr. Jon Larson of
the Illinois Institute of Technology speaking on the topic of "User
friendly motivational interviewing and evidence-based supported
employment tools for practioners" and Joe Chiappetta and Selima Ani of
Chicagoland Provider Leadership Network speaking on "Disability
Works-Internet job search and making the personal contact. CRCs will be
